Gary Klintworth is a co-founder and Managing Director of ARC Consulting LLC. Gary has deep technical expertise in a variety of complex areas, including option and equity accounting, debt issuances with attached equity instruments, revenue recognition, business combinations, long-lived asset impairments.  He also has a significant level of expertise with regards to SEC reporting, including IPO's and restatements, and complying with and SOX Section 404 provisions.

Most recently, Gary was the Corporate Controller of Plumtree Software, Inc. (“Plumtree”), a provider of enterprise software solutions, where he managed the worldwide accounting group, including all international operations.

Gary focused on revenue recognition, SEC reporting and implementation of complex accounting pronouncements. In December 2005, Gary was the lead finance professional in negotiations for BEA Systems Inc.’s acquisition of Plumtree for approximately $200 million in cash.

Prior to joining Plumtree, Gary was a Senior Manager at Grant Thornton LLP where he was integral in building the foundation for the Business Advisory Services practice, providing SOX 404, business and operational improvement consulting and IT risk services. Before Grant Thornton LLP, Gary was an audit manager for Arthur Andersen LLP.

Gary is a Certified Public Accountant and received his BA degree from UC Santa Barbara.
